Books We Have Read

Our reading list

At least as many as we could remember. From picture books to Harry Potter — here's our reading journey together.

If you’re wondering where to begin - go to the library. Get a library card if you don’t already have one. We saved thousands of dollars using the library, not to mention the book recommendations we received from the librarians. Start reading. One night will become one chapter, one book, one month. We kept going for over 4,000 nights. If it becomes too much, stop. You do what is right for your family. In the time you spent reading, think of all the books, stories, words, conversations, and memories. Time spent together, time away from your phones, time listening to each other’s voices. That is worth celebrating. Babies, toddlers, young children, even teenagers (although they probably won’t admit it) love the sound of their parents’ voices. It’s home. I wish I could still hear my father’s voice. And his laugh.
